What is DojoPrep?
DojoPrep is an AI interview-prep tool for software engineers. It generates practice questions tailored to your actual résumé, scores your answers honestly, and analyzes how well you fit a specific job — so you walk into interviews genuinely prepared.
Is using DojoPrep cheating?
No. DojoPrep is for practice before your interview — rehearsing answers, getting feedback, and studying your gaps. It is not for use during a real interview, and our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits that. Think of it like a sparring partner at the gym, not a device in the ring.
How does it tailor questions to me?
You add your background (paste or upload your résumé) and we extract your roles, projects, scale, and tech stack. Every question we generate is grounded in that — calibrated to your seniority and target role — instead of generic question-bank filler.
How honest is the feedback?
Deliberately honest, not flattering. We score answers on structure, content, communication, and relevance, and tell you the weaknesses that keep coming up. AI output can be imperfect, so treat it as strong practice feedback, not a guarantee.
How do credits work?
Each plan includes a monthly pool of credits. Actions spend credits — for example a practice session or a job fit — and the cost is shown before you run them. The daily practice question is free. Unused credits roll over up to the limit shown in the app.
What does it cost?
There's a free plan to try the method. Pro is $29/month and Power is $59/month, each with a larger monthly credit pool and more live-mode minutes. Annual plans are discounted. See the pricing page for details.
Can I cancel? Do you offer refunds?
Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; your plan stays active until the end of the period, then reverts to free. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or for a duplicate/accidental charge — see our Terms.
Is my résumé and data private?
Yes. We use your data only to provide the service. AI processing uses provider APIs that don't train on your inputs. We never sell your data. You can export everything or delete your account anytime from Settings. See our Privacy Policy.
Do I need the desktop app?
No — the full prep loop (questions, feedback, reports, job fits) works in your browser. The macOS desktop app adds a live mock-interview mode for self-driven practice and is optional.
